I had a BCC removed from the tip of my nose in August 23. From my first appointment with Dr Harvey Smith through to the procedure, folllow up and aftercare I was impressed. Dr Smiths manner and treatment of patients and staff is very caring and professional. Everything happened exactly as described to me by Dr Smith at my initial consultation. To go through this with such a wonderful team really helped. Thank you all!

I have recent had a skin cancer removed from my face and was initially reviewed at Oxford Dermatology Clinic, then had day surgery at Oxford Day Surgery. Both appts were with Dr Harvey Smith. I cannot recommend highly enough either of the practices or Dr Smith and his team. Dr Smith was very thorough, explained the proceedure and made me feel at ease with his professionalism. The Nursing staff (Cam and Donna) were also fantastic and very friendly and efficient. I can definitely recommend to others needing this type of service.

A few years ago I had a great experience at Oxford Dermatology with Dr Amit Verma. This time around, after a long wait to get a booking, I was emailed that I could not see him again and can only see Dr Harvey Smith. Initially that was fine as I was still able to see a professional - or so I presumed. Dr Harvey Smith was difficult to communicate with - no eye contact, 3 different recommendations in the one appointment which made little sense and all failed to have any results. I have now asked to see a different dermatologist at the clinic for a second opinion. But the blunt response I received was to go back to my GP and find another dermatologist because Dr Smith didn’t want to do this. A complete waste of time, effort and money. I now want everyone to know this practice is a farce and should be avoided at all cost.

I echo the experience of other reviewers on here: the receptionists are extremely rude, haughty, condescending, and dismissive of your concerns. They also frequently make scheduling mistakes and blame you for it. Additionally, they can't even be bothered to return phone calls. Diabolical.

The receptionists are very rude and terrible. They are very unprofessional. The way they handle the situation was very poor and careless. I had an appointment, this was the third times and as always we are waiting for 30 to 40 mins to see the doctor and this time i had an appointment at 0310pm, just in case, I called them to let them know, I am on the way and might arrive 5 mins late, however I arrived on time. but she told me, "Sorry, we rescheduled your appointment, and we can't wait for you." They didn't let me see the doctor. The assistance manager also took sides. They are very disappointing and unprofessional.
