Thank you to all the staff of the hospital for helping me over the weekend! You guys are the best. I came in complaining about a sore abdomen. Within a few hours I got a CT scan and bloods taken. The staff came to conclusion that I have to have my appendix removed. I was placed in a bed in the hospital where I was taken care of so well! A day later I had my appendix removed. I am very grateful to everyone on south floor level 3! And the incredible surgeons!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had to go for an Angiogram day surgery because I've been having pains in the chest and trouble breathing. The doctors and the nurses did all they could to make sure I could undergo the procedure and to ensure I was comfortable when I had to wait because they had 4 emergency cases on the day and also to ensure I could undergo the procedure with all my troubles. Thankfully nothing was found with my heart and all signs are good. It ended up being an overnight stay because of the delays to being seen, which as I said wasn't their fault, the staff on Ward 2 were very caring. Therese the nurse especially made sure I was comfortable and calmed a lot of my anxiety of being in a hospital so far from home and family. Thank you for all your care although don't take it the wrong way when I say I hope I never have to come again :)

My sister walked into the emergency with strong pain in her stomach, side of the body and one side of the back. They did a urine and blood test and could not find anything, which is why they sent her home saying she should get an ultrasound done "any time next week", because they can't do it for her right now. She asked whether it could be a cyst and they said it's very unlikely and since the pain killers that they gave her worked, she should be fine to go home. What a reasoning! If pain killers work it can't be too bad?! When she got an ultrasound done in the next days she found out that she had a twisted ovary, caused by a cyst. She will need surgery. And she was really lucky that the ovary untwisted by itself, because otherwise she could have lost this organ and would have become infertile. The behaviour of the hospital is grossly negligent and we had the strong feeling that they just don't take her seriously because she's a young woman. They asked her whether she was on her period - as if she could not identify period pain after having her period for more than 10 years. She also had to pay $580 for this "help" she received. By the way - she couldn't eat for days, could only somehow survive laying on one side, caused by the strong pain, but in the documentation the doctor just wrote "some mild pain yesterday, pain worse today". We are extremely disappointed by this treatment and wish for the management to discuss with their staff.

I had to pay $500+ for an EMERGENCY consultation, expecting to receive immediate help, had to wait for almost 3 HOURS to meet a doctor, and received unfriendly service from the receptionist & the nurses. Whenever I asked the receptionist/nurse the waiting time they said couldn’t estimate and it’s best to wait while I was in pain. One feedback for the management to prevent more severe health issues to be ignored at the emergency service like I did, if you are going to charge this much for an at least have more doctors in shift OR inform the patients before payment about the doctors’ availability. The only good thing was that the doctor was communicative and patient enough to explain the root causes of my issue.

Easily can see why 1 star. After enquiring about a patient from overseas they refused to say anything or even transfer me to the room. Said talk to family to which I said he has non. Said nothing and seems like little effort is made to think. Very doggy place who’s supposed to care. Seems more like a place hiding things.
